Kresus launches curated marketplace for Polygon projects

Web3 developer KresusLabs has announced the launch of Kresus Market, a curated marketplace that serves as a portal to Polygon projects. The marketplace aims to make navigation and exploration of the crypto world easier and more accessible.

KresusLabs has been active in the Web3 space throughout 2023, with milestones such as closing a $25 million funding round led by Cameron Winklevoss in March and launching its “SuperApp” in May.

Kresus Market is designed to bridge the gap between the standard Web3 experience and traditional Web2 marketplaces. With its curated approach, the marketplace will help SuperApp users filter through the clutter and find high-quality assets and projects on the Polygon blockchain.

According to @Kresusofficial, the Kresus Marketplace offers a curated list of top-tier DeFi, Gaming, and NFT projects. Each project on the marketplace has been vetted by the Kresus team for audits, team credibility, and more, ensuring users a seamless and safe Web3 journey.

The popularity of curated marketplaces is evident in the high number of NFTs minted on the Polygon blockchain. Polygon reports that over 843 NFTs have been minted on its blockchain as of May 2023.

In addition to the marketplace, KresusLabs also announced Kresus Connect, a tool for the SuperApp that enables direct and secure connections to third-party sites. This allows users to connect seamlessly via Kresus’ Web3 bridge.

The integration of bridging technologies, which combine the functionality of Web3 with the user experience of Web2, is becoming increasingly common in the Web3 space. For example, Unstoppable Domains recently integrated instant messaging protocols alongside its unique username service.
